control panel mail application not found

(assuming because it a hybrid device of some sort). i learned that with certain devices you can actually bypass this by disconnecting the coax cable and access the device directly but unfortunately this device doesn't seem to be one of those. that's when i learned that this control panel is not the actual devices control panel but something Mediacom themselves have made. i go to try and login using the information on the back of my modem/router (i'm assuming its both a modem and a router since it is one device, the Hitron cgnvm-2559 to be exact.) and it doesn't work. so after some digging i found out that if you typed in 'diacomcable' it sent you to a control panel where your suppose to log in to gain access to your modem/router stuff. it kept giving me something like 'redirected too many times' and suggested i cleared my cookies, which i did to find it didn't fix anything at all. for some reason it just would not pull up any sort of admin page or anything. Well that's where my first problem arose. ) I look up some things and learn i need to access the modem/router and i go about that by typing in the IP address. I've learned a lot tonight from this whole thing and i'm not sure i entirely understand it all. So i go about and try to find some solutions to fix that and as i found that none of the simple little things would work i figured id have to change the port (or something like that. when i went to go see what was up i found that my NAT was strict. I cannot for the life of me get into this thing.īasically I've been having problems connecting with friends on Xbox live in certain games.

Yikes, okay so this has been quite the fiasco for something that should be really really simple.
